Course Overview

The two day linked course aims to raise counsellor's consciousness & increase understanding of the issues & feelings involved when working with sexual abuse victims and their partners

Objectives

· To increase knowledge of the causes and incidence of sexual abuse and its effects on the adult survivor and their partner

· To look at some ways of helping survivors of sexual abuse and their partners within couple counselling
